DW Extension: Features

This page explains exactly what the Form to HTML Converter component does in terms of the output it can create and the components it supports.

• Component features:
  
  • It creates standard HTML or WebHub chunk files.
  • It works both at design time and at run time.
  • It can send the generated data to a disk file or to an in-memory stream.

• Supported Delphi Controls:
  If you are using these types of controls - you are all set - your forms will be converted. The registered version will render an unlimited number of controls within the container you select.
  • TLabel
  • TMemo (any TCustomMemo)
  • TEdit (any TCustomEdit)
  • TDBEdit (new in v1.05)
  • TDBLabel (new in v1.05)
  • TCheckBox
  • TRadioButton
  • TComboBox (any TCustomComboBox)
  • TListBox (any TCustomListBox)
  • TButton
  • TImage
  • TRadioGroup

• Supported Delphi Containers:
  If you are using these containers, the borders and other attributes will be rendered nicely as well.
  • TCustomForm
  • TGroupBox
  • TPanel
  • ... and any other TWinControl container
