Santa Rosa, CA -- HREF Tools Corp. (www.href.com) today announced a lower price for its
remote-reboot utility, "RemBoot version 2." RemBoot v2 is a shareware product which runs on a dedicated IP number and port and, upon authenticated request, reboots the computer. Once installed on a server running Windows, RemBoot is controlled over HTTPS using any web browser.
"We have been using this utility with our own colocated servers for over 10 years. It seemed time to make the price attractive to other small businesses." said HREF's President, Ann Lynnworth. "As Windows operating system patches appear at least once a month, we find that customers still need to run controlled, graceful reboots on their Windows-based servers."
