• Rubicon with C++Builder
  The registered version of Rubicon v3.055 should install without manual adjustments for C++Builder 2010. If you are a new user and wish to try Rubicon (before paying for a license), please contact Customer Support.

• Rubicon with TRIAL Delphi
  Installing Rubicon with the free trial version of RAD Studio will work if you use database bridges from Embarcadero rather than from third parties, e.g. ADO, BDE, dbExpress, IB Express AND you use the free evaluation version of Rubicon.
  For right now, it is too much work for us to precompile third party bridges for trial Delphi.

• FIBPlus status
  The FIBPlus bridge is included in Rubicon 3.052, which is available now for download by registered customers and free/trial users. Packages are included for Delphi 7, 2007, 2009, 2010.

• Interbase Objects Status
  Rubicon v3.037 supports IBObjects versions 4.8.6 and 4.8.7, and all tests pass. This is for use with Delphi 7 and Delphi 2007.
  Rubicon 3.049 supports IBObjects 4.9.7 RC.

• Rubicon with dbExpress: MySQL, Interbase 7, Blackfish
  The MySQL driver works well.
  You must use Delphi Update 3 with Interbase 7 and Blackfish.

• Rubicon for searching Chinese, Japanese and Korean text: planning
  Discussions are underway about how to allow for indexing of words in lingvos where spaces are not used to separate characters into words. We will not be using Morphologic Analysis; we will be supporting N-Gram Analysis.
  Support for these lingvos will be added AFTER we complete work on the major database drivers.
