  Before the free editions ship, the demos will be further simplified so that they work out-of-the-box for anyone who has installed the Embarcadero sample files and works with ADO, IBExpress, IBObjects or NexusDB; for other bridges, only a few lines will need to be customized to make the example programs work.

• Rubicon for FireMonkey
  As far as using RAD Studio XE2 to build applications for the Macintosh using Rubicon, here is the situation. The core Rubicon components have not yet had their GUI dependence removed. If you have Rubicon v2 or v3 source and you search for, say, the Forms or Dialogs unit, or TMessage, you will see that Windows-specific code is used in many units. We need to refactor that and then build alternate GUIs to make it easy to run the core search routines from a FireMonkey application.
