In The Hub

Hub System Error Messages updated v1.663
The W-HTML masters in htdocs\htdemo\htsys\whubhtml are updated, as well as the resulting files in htdocs\htsysmsg\*.*. The ht\htsysmsg directory is obsolete. From now on, both the TXT and HTM versions of the messages will be stored in htdocs\htsysmsg by default. Installation routine updated accordingly.

In the WebHub VCL Components

Form to HTML Converter v1.660
Upgraded to version 1.05.
NTDLL.DLL appears fixed v1.660
We have found one of the causes of the NTDLL.DLL error, something that we can trap for. The HtForm, AServer and HtClon demos no longer contain NTDLL workarounds.
There have been no further reports of this error from people using version 1.60+ as of 18 Nov. 1998.
New unit: htObjMem.dcu v1.660
For memory management.
Else phrases in W-HTML Macros fixed v1.660
GO, HIDE, IF, MATCH, ASSIGNED etc. all had problems with the "else" phrase in v1.650. Those are fixed.
= operator in MATCH macro v1.662
Problem in v1.660-v1.661 fixed in v1.662 : MATCH macro with = operator did not work. Workaround was to use ~ (case insensitive comparison).

In the Hub

The v1.660 package includes hub.exe v1.650. The v1.662 package includes hub.exe v1.660 which is better (important if you are running a HubApp, otherwise not important).

In the WebHub Demos

Completely switched over to the "cover page standard", pgCover as the homepage.
Minor copy edits on all demos for consistency regarding page headers, footers, top graphic, speedbar, and "about" information. (THANKS Martha!)
Fixed htShop1.dpr so the mail panel is only included once.
Abc demo recompiled- checked database name, deleted the built-with-webhub graphic macro.
BRND AppID created during installation - as of v1.661
v1.662: all W-HTML filenames follow the same pattern of using the AppID as the basis for the filename.
aserver.dpr:
- Added the DECODER panel.
- Added support for "single surfer mode" wherein the app can and will switch AppIDs on the fly. Example: surfer requests ?demos:pgCover but the "BW" demo is loaded. ASERVER will now give a message page and then automatically load the demos application. This is meant to make the demos much easier to use, especially with a 1exe Hub.

In the Installation

Fixed: On Win95/98 (which are not officially supported, but we try!), the packages will automatically compile and install even if you install to a drive other than C. In prior versions, one had to run the ht\pkg\ BAT file manually before starting Delphi.

Known problems

WebHub splash screen stays up. Workaround: click the splash screen image once to close it or start the EXE with the NoSlash parameter /NS.
Hub's session panel: clicking on the Sessions panel hangs the Hub. Workaround: start the hub without it like this: hub.exe /NoSessions
